My name is Emily Sprague, and I’m the Community Outreach Manager at Aspire Lionel Wilson College Prep Academy. My position is dedicated to organizing community events, developing community resources, and organizing families/students and extended community members in ways that will support the well-being of our students. Aspire LWP is a middle and high school located by the Sobrante Park neighborhood of East Oakland. We have a little under 500 students with about 94% + of students being Latinx. Rather than hosting a Thanksgiving gathering, LWP is bring families and neighbors onto campus to share a meal. Does your team at the Sikh Seva Food Truck have the capacity to help support LWP with this initiative on Wednesday, November 16th?
